Use the derma stamp 1 to 2 times per week, leaving at least a few days between sessions so your scalp can recover. Apply the Copper Peptide serum directly after stamping and massage it gently into the areas where your hair is thinning.

Most people describe it as a light tingling or prickling rather than pain. The needle head uses 0.5 mm 24-karat gold micro-tips, a length made for the scalp that reaches only the uppermost layers of the skin.

Let the weight of the applicator do the work instead of pressing down. Mild redness or a warm feeling for an hour or two afterwards is normal and settles on its own.

Rinse the needle head under warm running water immediately after use, disinfect it with 70% alcohol, and let it air dry completely before returning it to the case. Cleaned properly, a head can be reused for several sessions.

Your set comes with the applicator and a needle head already fitted, plus 3 individually packed, sterilised replacement heads. Switch to a fresh head as soon as the current one feels blunt or looks damaged.

Wash and dry your hair before a stamping session so your scalp is clean, then apply the vial serum straight afterwards. Avoid other active scalp products in the hours directly after stamping.

Do not use the stamp on broken skin, open wounds, active infections, sunburn, or areas affected by eczema, psoriasis, or active inflammation.

Avoid use if you have a known allergy to copper or to any ingredient in the serum, or if you are prone to keloid scarring. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, taking blood thinners, or under treatment for a scalp condition, check with your doctor first.

0.5 mm, at the shallow end of the 0.5 to 1.5 mm range used in published hair trials. A randomised comparison found that 0.6 mm needling did at least as well as 1.2 mm (Faghihi 2021), so deeper is not better.

The main trial tested microneedling together with 5% minoxidil, and that group gained more hairs than minoxidil alone (Dhurat 2013). A 2026 trial of women using 2% minoxidil found that adding microneedling gave no extra benefit at 24 weeks. Minoxidil is a medicine, so ask your doctor or pharmacist how to combine it with stamping.
